Frequently asked questions about PiAds
Is PiAds free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and you get two brand scans a day, renewed at midnight (Europe/Istanbul). Reopening the same brand within 10 minutes shows the saved result and does not use a scan.
Where does the data come from?
From public ad libraries: Meta Ad Library and Google Ads Transparency Center. The scan runs on Adlizer, DijitalPi's competitor ad tracking product. Results cover ads running in Türkiye.
Can I see my competitor's ad budget?
No. Neither library publishes spend, impressions or clicks for commercial ads, and PiAds does not estimate them. You see how many ads there are, what they say and, on Google Ads, when each one went live.
Why does a brand show no results?
The brand may advertise under a page name that does not match its website, or it may have no live ads in Türkiye right now. Try its Instagram username (@brand).
Which platforms does it scan?
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, YouTube and Display). An Instagram username scans Meta only.
Is the brand notified that I scanned it?
No. The ad libraries are public and a scan sends nothing to the brand.
What do you store about me?
A salted hash of your IP address (the raw IP is never written) and a random cookie (pis_uid), used only to count daily scans and deleted after three days. We also log which brand was scanned, the ad counts and whether the Adlizer links in the result were clicked, with a short hash in place of your IP, to see how the tool is used.
