WHAT DOES IT DO?
ai101.tools is a publicly available artificial intelligence tool directory built by DijitalPi. It holds more than 1,000 tools across 15 categories; an "AI of the Day" is picked daily, and the tools of the month and year are decided by community vote. Users can vote for tools, save them and build their own lists. The interface works in Turkish and English.
The problem it solves is simple but expensive: the number of AI tools explodes weekly, and working out which ones actually work takes hours. Generic "500 AI tools" lists go stale and their rankings are set by advertising money. ai101.tools uses the pairing of curated selection + community vote: ranking is calculated with the Wilson lower-bound score, so a tool with few votes cannot reach the top on an inflated score.
The real difference comes from MCP integration: the directory connects to clients such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Codex CLI and Gemini CLI. So when you say "suggest a tool for writing an ebook", your assistant queries the directory directly without opening a browser and brings back matching tools with their prices and scores. Membership is free; the MCP key is obtained from the profile panel.
HIGHLIGHTS
One tool is featured every day; the month and year awards are decided by community vote — no separate research needed to keep up.
The score is calculated with the Wilson lower bound: a tool with 5 stars from two votes cannot get ahead of one with hundreds of votes.
Voice, automation, coding, design, marketing, video, research and more — every tool is reviewed by hand and categorised.
With the MCP server the directory connects directly to your assistant; search, category listing and tool details work inside the conversation.
