What Are Google Ads Search Network Ads?
A "Google search network ad campaign" is the campaign type where your ads are shown in the search results when terms related to one of the keywords you have chosen are searched for.
Example: an ad shown for "holiday recommendations" in Google's search engine is an example of a Google search network campaign.
What Is the Google Ads Display Network?
This is the advertising model that lets your ads be shown, as text and images in particular sizes, to your audience visiting websites that belong to the Google display network.

How Does the Google Ads Display Network Work?
Striking messages and images that will catch your audience's attention are prepared. They are targeted demographically, by topic or at your website's visitors. It is the advertising model where you pay when your images receive impressions on the targeted ad placements.
The cost of the Google display network is calculated as cost per thousand impressions (CPM). What does that mean? As shown in the image below, you determine how much you want to pay for every 1,000 impressions. If your bid is in a suitable range for Google's competitive environment, your ads start receiving impressions once they are approved.
What Are the Google Ads Display (GDN) Targeting Options?

– GDN placement targeting
This is the targeting type for where (on which channels) you want the GDN ad to be shown.

Remarketing Targeting
This is the ad audience you target by building remarketing lists in order to re-engage users who have visited your site before.
What Are Google Ads Shopping Ads?
These are the ad type where you can show the products you sell to your potential customers on Google and on other web pages.
Shopping ads are run through the Google Ads panel. But to start using its campaigns you need to open a Google Merchant Center account and enter your product data into it. You can think of Google Merchant Center as the catalogue page holding your products.
How Do Shopping Campaigns Work?
Shopping ads use your existing Merchant Center product data. That is, you do not enter any keywords for targeting. You could say the product information coming from Merchant Center is at the same time the keywords. When users' searches match the product information, the ads are listed.
